We have tested two ALPINA helmet models for you: the Gems ski helmet with Double Jack MAG Q goggles and the Alto Q-lite goggle helmet.

ALPINA offers good protection

Tested: ALPINA helmets Alto Q-lite and Gems Ski helmets prevent head and face injuries in the event of a fall and are therefore a natural part of today’s skiing. Ski goggles are equally important. Because a good view is also important for safety on the slopes.
To ensure that ski goggles fit perfectly, they should be perfectly matched to the ski helmet. In addition, goggle helmets are becoming more and more popular, in which goggle lenses are integrated into the helmet.

The Bavarian brand ALPINA offers a wide range of goggles and helmets. In the field of ski goggles, it has long been one of the German market leaders. The brand’s innovative products and technologies always focus on protection and safety.

We tested two Alpina ski helmets and a pair of goggles on the slopes. Katrin wore the Gems helmet and Double Jack MAG Q goggles, and Isabell wore the Alto Q-lite face helmet on the slopes. Both helmets for men and women are available in different sizes and colors.

ALPINA Gems
The ALPINA Gems is a lightweight freeskiing helmet, and the first thing you notice is the large perforated pattern construction of the active ventilation system . Especially on hard climbs or in sunny weather, the active ventilation at the top allows for better air circulation. The system can also be operated with gloves so that the air supply to the head can be adjusted as needed at any time. The ergonomic harness buckle with red button is also easy to operate and can be adjusted to suit using the multi-stage automatic locking system.

You can flexibly adjust the size of the helmet to fit your head using the Run System Ergo Snow’s swivel wheel. ALPINA uses lavalan® wool as insulation inside the helmet, which is breathable and resistant to sweat and odor. The pads can also be removed and washed if necessary. For optimum protection in the field, the back of the head is covered particularly deeply.
