Halti: New Ski Touring Collection
For many, a ski trip is about finding the perfect balance between challenging uphills and fast downhills. To help you perform at your best both uphill and downhill, Finnish outdoor specialists Halti have developed a lightweight and breathable range that offers support in both directions. We show the models made from carefully selected technical materials in more detail.
Correct insulation
The ski touring collection includes softshell jackets and pants with matching insulated jackets.
The Crust insulated jacket for men and women with Primaloft Aerogel© insulation in the chest pocket provides enough warmth for every trip. As a multifunctional ski jacket, the jacket can be used as a middle layer or as an outer layer, depending on which layer it is combined with.
The combination of thin ripstop material and DrymaxX© nano membrane creates a breathable and at the same time waterproof barrier that protects you from overheating and humidity in the snow. To specifically protect the chest and shoulder areas, the Crust insulated jacket has an additional windproof micro-layer in these areas. The fact that the material is recycled and PFC-free also explains the features of this model.
The second jacket in the new Halti ski touring range, the Alpine Unisex 3L DX, is also made of ripstop and DrymaxX© nano-film. In addition, there are pants to match the jacket, making a complete ski touring set. Both the jacket and the Alpine Unisex 3L DX pants are particularly breathable and comfortable to wear. Like the Crust jacket, they are made of recycled and PFC-free materials, which is impressive.

Halti Adrenaline Jacket and Pants
The matching Adrenaline model is particularly light and breathable.
The Adrenaline softshell jacket and pants are breathable, lightweight and practical ski touring sets. Both are made of stretchy, partially recycled X-stretch double-layer material that keeps you warm even without an additional lining. Adrenaline products are finished with a moisture-resistant, fluorocarbon-free DWR finish that also keeps them dry. Since the knees should be especially protected during ski touring, the Adrenaline pants are made of sturdy Cordura ripstop material in this area.
For optimal performance, sufficient freedom of movement is also a must. For this reason, the Adrenaline jacket is cut with angelic sleeves for exceptionally large movements. In addition, the jacket fits comfortably around the body and leaves plenty of room for a middle layer. On very cold days, for example, the suit can be worn over the Crust jacket.
