New Smiths products for ski resorts

This winter, the American brand Smith will be launching several new products on the market. Besides two new ski goggles, the Method ski helmet from Koroyd is one of the absolute highlights. We take a closer look at the newcomers.
The Method is the latest addition to the Smith helmet family. The avant-garde lifestyle model offers all the features and comfort you need for your snowy adventures.

Equipped with MIPS models through Koroyd, a specially constructed shock absorbing technology. It is significantly less elastic than EPS foam, thus reducing the risk of injury. In the event of an impact, any energy-absorbing material will give back some energy due to its elastic behavior. Lower elasticity means that the rebound effect is minimized. Additionally, Smith’s Method helmet boasts features such as eight vents to improve airflow, removable Snapfit SL2 ear pads for added warmth, and a removable goggle strap lock in case you want to wear your goggles under the helmet.

Fit is a major factor when choosing a helmet. The Method utilizes a self-adjusting lifestyle fit system that flexes to fit the shape of your head. For round head shapes, this model is also available in a rounded contour style.
