LEKI Ski poles: support for ski trips

Ski touring poles: what matters

Ski touring poles share many characteristics with alpine ski poles.
Winter sports enthusiasts know that ski poles and ski touring poles are not the same thing, even though both are used in the snow and share some common features. An ergonomic grip is a must for both, and lightness is also an advantage.

The length of the poles is also important to many and should be adjustable at best to better suit the given terrain. After all, different pole lengths are required for ascending and descending. Sometimes the difference can be up to 10 centimeters!

In short, high-quality ski touring poles that are light, sturdy, stable and individually adjustable provide you with optimal snow support in powder. Pole specialist LEKI values all these characteristics and designs equipment that is optimally adapted to the needs of athletes and their activities.

New: LEKI Guide 2

The new LEKI Guide 2 walking poles are made of improved materials.
Brand new to the LEKI travel pole range is the Guide 2 model. The predecessor has been further optimized for the winter season 2022/23 and is now equipped with an Aergon Air grip for more comfort and control. Thanks to the high-strength aluminum housing, the special chamber technology achieves a particularly lightweight construction that is robust at the same time. For you, this means more support on the mountain’s varied terrain without too much weight.

The Guide 2 poles have also been designed with control and flexibility in mind. To ensure a secure grip, the back of the handle is fully rubberized and you can easily grip steep terrain or traverses with the help of the handle extension. In addition, the Speed Lock 2 plus feature allows you to easily adjust the bar between 110 and 150 cm with gloves on. The larger support surface is especially useful when ascending steep hairpin bends.

If you are looking for something lightweight and easy to use, the Guide Lite 2 is the right choice. Compared to the Guide 2, this model is slightly shorter and lighter, but has the same useful features.

The third model in the Guide 2 series is the LEKIGuide Lite 2 Carbon, which differs from the Guide Lite 2 model in that the down tube is made of reinforced aramid carbon. This makes this model slightly heavier than the Guide Lite 2, but still about 10 grams lighter than the Guide 2 model. The decision ultimately depends on your personal preferences and needs when ski touring.
